Use the website in a way that violates any law or third-party rights
We reserve the right to update, limit, or remove website content at any time.
3. Discovery Calls and Project Inquiries
Submitting a form, booking a call, or contacting SLO County Creative does not create a client relationship by itself.
A project begins only after both parties agree to the project scope, timeline, pricing, and terms. This may happen through a written proposal, invoice, contract, email agreement, or other written confirmation.
4. Services and Project Scope
Each project may include a specific scope of work, deliverables, timeline, payment terms, usage rights, and revision limits.
Services may include, but are not limited to:
Brand identity
Logo design
Website design
Photography
Video production
Drone media
Editing
Visual content creation
Creative strategy
Client galleries
Digital file delivery
Any work outside the agreed project scope may require additional fees.
5. Payments
Payment terms will be listed in the project proposal, invoice, agreement, or checkout page.
Depending on the project, SLO County Creative may require a deposit, partial payment, full payment, or scheduled payments before work begins or before final files are delivered.
Late payments may delay project timelines, delivery, publishing, or final file access.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule a project, session, shoot, or meeting, please contact us as soon as possible.
Rescheduling may depend on availability. Deposits, retainers, or booking fees may be non-refundable depending on the agreement for that project.
Weather, location access, illness, safety concerns, or other unexpected situations may require a shoot or project date to be rescheduled.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, project assets, approvals, access credentials, brand materials, written content, and any other items needed to complete the project.
Delays in client feedback or materials may delay the project timeline.
Clients are responsible for reviewing all final materials before approval, publishing, printing, or public use.
8. Website Design Services
For website projects, the client is responsible for any third-party costs unless otherwise stated. These may include:
Domain registration
Website hosting
Website builder subscriptions
Plugins or apps
Stock images or music

SLO County Creative is not responsible for outages, platform changes, price changes, or issues caused by third-party website providers.
9. Photography, Video, and Creative Media
SLO County Creative retains copyright ownership of original photos, videos, designs, and creative work unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Clients receive usage rights based on the project agreement. Usage rights may include personal use, business use, marketing use, social media use, web use, or other agreed uses.
Gallery access or file delivery does not automatically grant permission to resell, redistribute, edit, alter, or transfer the work to another party unless written permission is provided.
10. Portfolio and Promotional Use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, SLO County Creative may display completed work, behind-the-scenes content, photos, videos, websites, designs, logos, or project examples in our portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, proposals, or case studies.
If a project includes private, confidential, or unreleased material, the client should notify SLO County Creative in writing before the project begins.
11. Revisions
Projects may include a specific number of revisions or rounds of feedback. Revision details will be listed in the project agreement or proposal.
Additional revisions, major changes, direction changes, or requests outside the original scope may require additional fees.
12. Client Galleries and File Delivery
Client galleries may be delivered through Pixieset or another file delivery platform.
Galleries may be available for a limited time. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their final files before gallery expiration.
SLO County Creative is not responsible for storing files forever unless a separate storage or archive agreement has been made.
13. Print, Product, and Digital Orders
If prints, products, or digital downloads are available through a gallery or online store, order details, production times, shipping, taxes, and payment processing may be handled by third-party providers.
SLO County Creative is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, print labs, payment processors, or third-party vendors.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Our website or services may use third-party platforms such as hosting providers, website builders, scheduling tools, payment processors, email services, gallery delivery platforms, analytics tools, or social media platforms.
